RNA interference (RNAi)は遺伝子機能の解明に役立つ強力なテクニックです。哺乳類の細胞でのRNAiは短いdouble-stranded RNAが特異的なターゲットmRNAを分解することにより起こります。short dsRNAsは化学合成により作られたショートヘアピンRNA (shRNA)^1,2、in vitro転写^2,3,4、またはin vivo発現^1,2,3と同様に遺伝子の抑制（silence）に有効です。新製品MessageMuter™ shRNAi Production Kitはtransfection-ready shRNA in vitroを迅速かつ簡単に作成することが可能です。また化学合成dsRNAに比べ非常に低コストです。MessageMuter™ shRNAi kitはshRNAsを10サンプル分、各100回分のRNAi実験に使用できます。

MessageMuter™ shRNAi Production Kitはシンプルかつユニークな3ステップ・プロセスでRNAi用のtransfection-ready shRNAを3時間で転写合成できます。キットに含まれる試薬は赤字で示してあります。

高い能力を持つshRNAを迅速にMessageMuter™ shRNAi Production Kitで転写合成できます。shRNA (designated shRNA-luc)をキットを用いて合成し、ウミシイタケルシフェラーゼに対しホタルルシフェラーゼ発現を90% 抑制（silences expression）ました。
